Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedy actress and TV host is best known for her tenure as host in Dinner and a Movie. She has also been a vocal advocate on environmental issues and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch a New York Times Bestseller author, actor and critic of her autobiography Wherever You go Wherever You Go I'm sure you've made an Effort. You Say Tomato. I say Shutup, and I Fired. The show also featured the Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the host of Dinner & a Movie on TBS for many years. Television viewers are likely to be familiar with her appearances on programs like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown, and the sustainability program WA$TED which was broadcast on The Planet Green Network. She is a regular guest on PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR in addition to writing Op-eds in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satire pieces for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys. Her work has been recognized by critics for her work on the stage in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times.
